A Thousand Words

Short Plays on Photography

1000 words

Inspired by Susan Sontag's seminal book "On Photography", seven playwrights explore the role and power of photography in our everyday lives. Family photos, school pictures, wedding shots, Kodak moments, cell phone pictures, are all a ubiquitous part of our daily lives and these plays riff on the larger implications of a simple shot.
